DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Noah Thomas hit four 3-pointers and scored 24 points and Nick McGlynn pitched in with a double-double to propel Drake to an 82-70 victory over Southern Illinois. Thomas sank three 3-pointers and scored 13 in the first half as the Bulldogs (12-4, 1-2 Missouri Valley Conference) shot 59 percent from the floor _ including 8 of 16 from beyond the arc _ to take a 43-22 lead into intermission.

WACO, Texas (AP) — Makai Mason scored 25 points with five free throws in the final 38 seconds as Baylor held on to beat No. 20 Iowa State 73-70. Iowa State was coming off a 17-point home win over then-No. 5 Kansas three days earlier. The Cyclones had their five-game winning streak in their first game as a ranked team since the 2016-17 season.

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Kaila Charles scored 19 points, eight of them coming when Maryland broke open the game in the third quarter, and the No. 9 Terrapins beat Nebraska 81-63. It was Brenda Frese’s 500th win as a head coach. The Terps have won two straight since getting upset by Rutgers on Dec. 31.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — Kyle Alexander had 14 points and a career-high 17 rebounds as third-ranked Tennessee beat Missouri 87-63 Tuesday. It was the Volunteers’ second straight blowout victory in Southeastern Conference play.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — Tulio Da Silva had 21 points and eight rebounds to lead Missouri State to a 72-57 victory over Indiana State. The Bears (7-9, 1-2 Missouri Valley Conference) broke a two-game skid while Indiana State (9-6, 1-2) has lost three of its last four games each by double-digits. Da Silva was 10 of 13 from the floor, had three assists and blocked two shots. Indiana State tied the game at 44, and trailed just 57-53 with 8:37 remaining before the Bears finished on a 15-4 run.
