The month of October, in Atlantic, was cooler and wetter on average, than is typical for the month. Our average High was 60.5-degrees, which is 3.6-degrees cooler than normal, even though the early part of the month briefly brought temperatures in the upper 70’s and 80’s for a couple of days. The warmest day was 89 on Oct. 3rd. The coolest morning was 27 set Oct. 31st. On Average, the Low in Atlantic during October, was 36.6-degrees, which was 2.4-degrees cooler than normal. Precipitation in October at the KJAN studios, amounted to 3.74-inches, which includes 1.8-inches of melted snow. Normal average precipitation, is 2.76-inches.
