JOSEPH S. REINIG, 93, of Harlan, died Friday, Oct. 6th, at the Elm Crest Retirement Community. A Mass of Christian Burial for JOSEPH S. REINIG will be held 11-a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12th, at St. Mary Our Lady of Fatima Church in Portsmouth. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 2-until 4-p.m at the funeral home, and then at St. Mary Our Lady of Fatima Church in Portsmouth, from 5-until 8-p.m. Wednesday, with a Rosary at 7-p.m.

Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at Portsmouth.

His sons – Mike (Charlotte) Reinig, of Melbourne, FL; Richard (Roxanne) Reinig, and Dan (Lori) Reinig, all of Portsmouth; Jim (Chris) Reinig, of Gretna, NE; and Vince (Christy) Reinig, of Mt. Shasta, CA.

His daughters – Betty (John) Kubicek, Laura (John) Licisin, and Ella (Bob) McAlexander, all of Omaha; Loretta (Adrian) Fechner, of Blair, NE, and Kathy (JOhn) Goetz, of Polk City, IA.

His sister – Cecilia Tunnell, of San Luis Obispo, CA.

His brothers – Tony (Mildred) Reinig, and Al (Millie) Reinig, all of Harlan.

18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, a brother-in-law, and 6 sisters-in-law.
