BILL BEHNKEN, 79, of Massena, died Wednesday, August 30th, 2017, at the Caring Acres Nursing and Rehab in Anita.  Funeral services for BILL BEHNKEN will be held 10:30-a.m. Saturday, Sept. 2nd, at the 1st Lutheran Church in rural Wiota. Steen Funeral Home in Massena has the arrangements.

Visitation, with the family present, is from 4-until 7-p.m Friday, Sept. 1st. at the Steen Funeral Home in Massena; Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com.

Burial will be in the 1st Lutheran Church Cemetery, with a luncheon held at the 1st Lutheran Church in rural Wiota, following services at the cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the Bill Behnken Memorial Fund, to be established by the family at a later date.

His sons – Brian (Rhonda) Behnken and Blaine (Kim) Behnken, all of Massena.

His daughters – Teresa (James) Meek, of Bondurant; Cindy (Russ) Armstrong, of Greenfield, and Nicole (Chad) Behnken, of Pleasant Hill.

His sisters – Mary Lea Rice, of Prairie City, and Kathryn (Terry) Endres, of Des Moines;Mary (Bill) Gallo, of Council Bluffs.

9 grandchildren; one great-grandson; other relatives and friends.
