The Atlantic boys basketball team faces a tough Hawkeye 10 road test tonight at Kuemper Catholic.  The Trojans will be trying to avenge an earlier loss for the second time this week. On Tuesday night the Trojans were able to beat Harlan 72-49, a team they lost to on the road by three. The Kuemper Catholic Knights won the first meeting of the season in Atlantic back on December 20th 73-66.

Matt Dentlinger is averaging 19 points per game for the Knights and he dropped in 23 in the first meeting with the Trojans.  The Knights are 14-2 on the season and have won two straight since a setback at Harlan last Friday.

Atlantic has been lead by Senior Garrett Franken averaging 24 points per game and he had 31 against the Knights in December.  The Trojans are 12-4 and have won their last 4 contests.

The game was originally scheduled to be played on January 17th but was moved due to weather conditions. Chris Parks and Mike Smith will have the broadcast for you tonight on KJAN. Catch it on AM1220, FM101.1, kjan.com, the KJAN mobile app, or live video on KJANTV. Pregame at 7:20pm with tip-off scheduled for 7:30pm.
