Audubon Police Dept. arrest report (8/6/16)

Audubon Police Chief Matt Starmer released his latest arrest report today (Monday). Starmer said on Sunday (Aug. 7th), 68-year old Steven Stewart Byriel, of Atlantic, was arrested  for OWI – First Offense, and Failure to Obey a Stop Light.  Byriel was was transported to the Audubon County Jail where he was released on a Recognizance Bond. That same day, 36-year old Spencer Leigh Lile, of Manilla, was arrested in Audubon for Possession of Methamphetamine/3rd offense, having No Insurance, Fraudulant (license) Plates, and Operating a Non Registered Vehicle.  Audubon County Deputy Tibbets and K9 Axel assisted in the arrest.  Lile was being held in the Audubon County Jail on $5000 bond.
Last Thursday (Aug. 4th), 26-year old Cole Jacob Benton, of Audubon, turned himself in to the Audubon Police Dept., for Failure to Appear on a Vicious Dog charge. Benton posted bond and was released. On July 30th, 57-year old Roger Thomas Waters, of Exira, was arrested for Violation of a No Contact Order.  Waters was transported to the Audubon County Jail where he appeared before a magistrate. And, on July 23rd, 24-year old Tyler Everett Williamson, of Audubon, was arrested for Driving While Barred and Failure to Obey a Stop Sign.  Williamson was transported to the Audubon County Jail and posted bond.
