Bluffs man sought in connection w/ATV thefts from Montgomery County

Sheriff’s officials in Montgomery County are asking for your help in finding a man suspected of stealing an ATV from a rural Red Oak property. Wednesday evening, the Sheriff’s Office took a report from a rural resident regarding the theft of two, 4-wheel ATV’s. One was a red 2014 Honda TRX 450ER, the other a yellow Honda 450EX.

Early Thursday morning, the ATV’s were located in the 64000 block of 240th, in Glenwood. Authorities say 36-year old James Leonard Burson, of Council Bluffs, fled on the red Honda 4-wheeler. The yellow 450EX was recovered.

If you see Burson, or the red Honda TRX 450ER, contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at 1-888-434-2712. Burson is a white male, 6-feet tall, about 210-pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes. If you know where he is, please contact the Sheriff’s Office at number mentioned.
