Firefighters from Bridgewater, Fontanelle, Adair and Greenfield responded to a structure fire at around 8:51-p.m. Saturday, in Bridgewater. A dispatcher with the Adair County Sheriff’s Office told KJAN News, the two-story home at 319 N. Main Street in Bridgewater, was fully engulfed in flames by the times crews arrived. The structure was a total loss, but no injuries were reported.

The home did not have any working electricity. Flames coming from the Eve’s of the roof were still visible late Sunday morning. A crew from the Bridgewater Fire Deptartment remained on the scene well into the late morning.

A cause of the blaze remained under investigation.
