ALICE RUTH MERTES, 88, of Griswold ( & formerly of Carson), died Thu., Feb 25th,  at the Griswold Care Center, in Griswold. Funeral services for ALICE MERTES will be held 10:30-a.m. Monday, Feb. 29th, at the Carson United Methodist Church, in Carson. Rieken-Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland has the arrangements.

Visitation with the family is from 3-until 5-pm Sunday (2/28) at the Carson United Methodist Church.

Interment will be in the Carson Cemetery.

Her children – Diane (Perry) Peterson, of Griswold, & Mark (Amy) Mertes, of Carson.

Her sister – Catherine Koob.

2 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
