At the Red Owens Holiday Classic in Pleasant Hill:

Southeast Polk, with 321 points took first-place in the team competition. Locally, Glenwood finished second with 221 points. Atlantic placed third with 163.5 points. The Trojans’ Kole Hansen was the sole individual champion for the team, winning the 106 pound class championship by a fall. There were three second-place finishers for Atlantic: Carter Cox at 113-pounds; Tanner Mauk at 132-pounds, and at 220-pounds, Keagan Hosfelt. Three Trojans, Chase McLaren at 120-pounds, Drake Roller at 182, and Zac Stork at 195, placed third.

The Glenwood Rams meanwhile, had three champions during the day, Saturday. Matt Malcom took the title at 160-pounds, Anthony Sherry won the 170-pound weight class, and Zach Haggstrom took the crown in the 190-pound championship. Glenwood’s Caleb Sanders placed second at 285-pounds, while 126-pounder Trevor Anderson and Jordan Renshaw, at 138-pounds, finished third in their weight classes.

At the Al Garrison Duals in Waukee:

Locally, Council Bluffs, Thomas Jefferson in fourth place, while Harlan placed sixth.
