Amber Alert in Iowa issued 3-a.m. Monday

UPDATE 5:26-A.M.: The children and suspect have been found and are safe. AMBER ALERT CANCELLED.

The Jefferson, Iowa Police Department at 3-a..m. issued an AMBER ALERT to law enforcement agencies across the state, associated with the disappearance of two  Native American children identified as 4-year old Reed Day (a male), and 2-year old Rheea Lee Ann Day (a female).

Police are searching for a blue 1987 Chevrolet R-10 truck with Iowa plates reading 734-RAS in connection with their disappearance.

Reed Day was apparently taken around 2:30 p.m. Sunday. He is four feet tall, 40 pounds with blond hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a blue and white Scooby Doo sweatshirt.

Rheea Day is 3-feet tall, weighs 30-pounds and has blonde hair & blue eyes. She was wearing a pink shirt and shorts. Rheea is a severe diabetic and is on an insulin pump. The suspect did not take any of Rheea’s required medication or testing equipment with her when she left.

The suspect in the abduction is 21-year old Allision Ann Marie Tucker, a white female, 5-feet 7-inches tall, 140-pounds and has blonde hair with blue eyes. No clothing description is available at this time. The children belong to a good friend and she was allowed to leave with the children to reportedly travel to the Des Moines area to look at a dog. Tucker did not return with the children and has had no contact with the mother.

Anyone with information about the vehicle or the children’s disappearance is asked to call 911 immediately.
