The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a flood warning for the following river in Iowa and Nebraska: Missouri River at Plattsmouth, NE., affecting Mills County (IA) and Cass County (NE).
* The Flood Warning is in effect from late tonight to Saturday afternoon…or until the warning is  cancelled.
* At 10:00 AM Thursday the stage was 20.8 feet…or 5.2 feet below flood stage.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* The river is forecast to rise to near 27.4 feet by tomorrow evening.
* Impact…at 27.0 feet…Minor flooding is occurring in the parking  lots near the gauge site and boat ramp. In addition, a private  camping area just upstream of the gauge site begins to flood.
