OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Nebraska law enforcement officials say they have found a man who told employees of a west Omaha hospital that he had a body in his car. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department says the 50-year-old man was stopped in western Iowa shortly after the incident Friday morning at Methodist Women’s Hospital emergency room.

Hospital staff say the man walked in around 9 a.m. and told them he had a body in his car. Employees said they found no body or blood in the car, even though the man insisted the body was there. The man then drove off.

Sheriff’s officials say the man’s cellphone information was used to find him. No body or evidence of foul play was found in his car. The man was not arrested, but the investigation continues.
