In an update to our story Friday morning, authorities say two people from Nebraska were arrested early Friday morning following the pursuit of a stolen vehicle that later crashed. The Omaha World-Herald reports police arrested 44-year old Mark T. Fuller,  of Bellevue and 19-year old Cara Pokorny, of Omaha, on suspicion of second-degree theft, disobedience to a peace officer, interference with official acts and two counts of eluding, according to police records. Fuller was also arrested on suspicion of not having a driver’s license.

The pair were taken into custody at around 1:20 a.m. Friday, after a chase in Sarpy County, NE that began when an officers’ attempt to pull over a 1994 Buick that was reportedly stolen. The chase ended up in Council Bluffs, where the vehicle crashed in the 2000 block of Veterans Memorial Highway.

Both suspects remain at the Pottawattamie County Jail on $10,000 bail.
