* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR…
NORTHEASTERN MILLS COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST IOWA…
MONTGOMERY COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST IOWA…

* UNTIL 545 PM CDT

* AT 503 PM CDT…SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE
EXTENDING FROM NEAR OAKLAND TO NEAR MACEDONIA TO 6 MILES NORTH OF
GLENWOOD…MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 45 MPH.

THESE ARE VERY DANGEROUS STORMS.

HAZARD…80 MPH WIND GUSTS AND BASEBALL SIZE HAIL.

SOURCE…RADAR INDICATED.

IMPACT…FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT
SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE HEAVILY DAMAGED. EXPECT
CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE TO ROOFS…WINDOWS AND VEHICLES.
EXTENSIVE TREE DAMAGE AND POWER OUTAGES ARE LIKELY.

HIGHWAY 34 IN IOWA BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 14 AND 42.
HIGHWAY 59 IN IOWA BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 28 AND 37.
