Sheriff’s officials in Fremont County report two women have been arrested on numerous theft charges following a two-month long investigation initiated by the Iowa Attorney General’s Office that led to the closing of the Kevington Lane Care Facility in Sidney, Iowa.

55-year old Mary Morse-Bolton, of Plattsmouth, NE was arrested on felony charges that include Ongoing Criminal Conduct, Theft in the 1st degree, Fraudulent Practices in the 1st degree, Theft in the 2nd degree, and an Aggravated Misdemeanor charge of Theft in the 3rd degree. And 29-year old Kristine Anne Morse, of Sidney, was arrested on a felony charge of Ongoing Criminal Conduct, and Aggravated Misdemeanor charges of Forgery and Tampering with Records.

Morse-Bolton was able to post a $63,000 cash bond, while Kristine Morse was being held in the Fremont County Jail on a $67,000 cash bond. An investigation into their alleged activities continues.
