IDA FAYE LICKTEIG, 90, formerly of Defiance, died Sun., March 2nd, at the Manilla Manor Nursing Home, in Manilla. A Mass of Christian Burial service for IDA FAYE LICKTEIG will be held 1:30-p.m. Wed., March 5th, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Defiance. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation at St. Peter’s Catholic Church is from 4-to 8-pm Tuesday, with a Wake service at 7-pm. Visitation will resume at the church Wednesday, one-hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery at Defiance.

Her sons – Dennis Lickteig & Special Friend Lynne Cassidy, of Waterloo; Timothy (Carol) Lickteig, of Buck Grove, IA, & Jerome (Jill) Lickteig, of Elk Horn, IA.

Her daughters – Mary (Ray) Mumm, of Ute, IA, & ALice (Terry) Weiland, of Aurora, CO.

Her brother – Carl (Cleta) Pitts, of Oskaloosa.

Her sister – Mamie Pedrow, of Garnett, KS.

20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren & 8 great-great grandchildren.
