RUSSELL JOHNSON SAXTON, 88, of Leon (& formerly of Anita), died Oct. 19th, at home. Funeral services for RUSSELL SAXTON will be held 11-a.m. Mon., Oct. 28th, at the Loving Chapel United Methodist Church, in Leon. Kessler Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A family visitation will be held from 6-to 8-pm Sunday at the Slade-O’Donnell Funeral Home in Leon.

Burial will be in the Leon Cemetery at a later date.

RUSSELL SAXTON is survived by his:

Wife – Agnes, of Leon.

Daughter – Priscilla (Ralph) Croxdale, of Marshalltown.

Sons – Steve (Thelma) Saxton, Mark Saxton, and Jay (Carol) Saxton, all of Leon.

Sisters – Letha Mae Josephsen, of Audubon, & Arvis McLean & husband Danny Campbell, of Mission, TX.

Brother-in-law: Dale Nielsen, of Atlantic.

12 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, numerous great- and great-great grandchildren.
