Body recovered in Mo. River near Bluffs casino

Authorities in Pottawattamie County have recovered a body from the Missouri River near Council Bluffs, this (Saturday) afternoon. The Daily NonPareil qoutes emergency dispatch reports as saying the body was discovered shortly before 1 p.m. floating near the Ameristar Casino.
Recovery crews from Pottawattamie County and other agencies were on-hand near the former Rick’s Boatyard Cafe. We’ll have more on this situation as it becomes available.
