Atlantic Board of Adjustment to hold Public Hearings

News

July 6th, 2013 by Ric Hanson

The City of Atlantic’s Board of Adjustment will hold public hearings Monday morning at City Hall, with regard to two separate variance applications. The first is for Joseph and Karen Riesberg, who wish to construct a storage shed at 423 Elm Street. The shed would not conform to the rear yard setback requirements under the zoning ordinance. The second hearing is for a request by Larry and Marlene Hummel to construct a three-car garage at 2803 Country Club Drive, that would not conform to the street-side yard setback requirements under City Code.

The Board will also welcome and introduce new member Doug Seemann, and accept nominations for, and act on electing, a Chairperson and Vice-Chair. The meeting begins at 7:30-a.m., Monday.
