The Page County Sheriff’s Office put the owner of a bar at the Essex Golf Course, and a bartender, on notice that they allegedly violated the terms of their liquor license. Officials say at around 2:20-a.m. November 11th, deputies performed an alcohol license check at the Essex Golf Course, which is required to stop serving alcohol at 2-a.m.  Sheriff Lyle Palmer says deputies found violations of the license, and spoke with Ricky Hawkes, of Essex, and bartender Travis Williams, of Omaha.

Both men were informed of the violations, and information about the incident was forwarded to the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) agency for further review. No charges have been filed at this time, and the business remains open.
