Coach Chris Jahnke’s Comments: After playing much improved on Saturday we thought we would play well tonight. For some reason we take the floor at home in our gym and we look scared and intimidated by whoever we face. We did not look good in any facet of the game. All season long we have struggled to find 6 consistent players that can hold their own and compete for an entire match. We have an entire team of capable players but we have not been able to come out and perform and sustain momentum. We are quite capable of playing good volleyball and at times we do. The team has to convince themselves that they can do it. We as coaches believe in them and try hard to help them see their potential for themselves. I thought our seniors played their hearts out. I have been proud of this group for showing up each day and staying positive and together. If ever a group deserved to win it is this group.
