The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office says a Red Oak man has died from injuries he suffered during a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon. Chief Deputy Sheriff John Reynolds says59-year old Robin L. Allen died at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. The accident happened at around 12:50-p.m., Sunday, in the vicinity of 205^th Street and Hawk Lane.  When deputies arrives they found a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle in the west ditch, and Allen was being treated for his injuries.

Witnesses stated that for reasons unknown, Allen’s motorcycle, which had been north bound on 205^th street, crossed the center of the road and exited the traveled portion of the roadway and flipped into the ditch. Allen was transported to Jennie Edmundson Hospital before being transferred to the UNMC, where he was pronounced dead. This matter remains under investigation.
