JAMES HARLAND YOUMANS, JR., 86, of Elk Horn and formerly Persia died on Wednesday, May 9 at Salem Lutheran Home in Elk Horn.  Funeral services for JAMES YOUMANS, JR., will be held on Saturday, May 12 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Persia. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 11 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Visitation will also be held on Saturday, May 12 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the church prior to the service.

Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery in Persia.

JAMES YOUMANS JR is survived by:

Wife:  Arlene Youmans of Bennington, NE and formerly Persia

2 sons:  Alan (Julene) Youmans of Freeport, IL and Dale (Yvonne) Youmans of Las Vegas, NV

1 daughter:  LuAnne (Michael) Patak of Bennington, NE

1 sister:  Eleanor Drinkwater of Florida

1 brother:  Richard Youmans of New Britain, CT

7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren
