Two bodies found at Lake Manawa State Park in western Iowa appear to be those of a missing Nebraska woman and her son. KETV in Omaha is reporting the FBI is confirming the bodies are those of an adult female and a juvenile male. Authorities say a passer-by discovered the bodies about 7 p.m. Sunday in woods about 400 yards from a boat ramp that runs into the Missouri River.  Names and possible causes of death have not been released.
41-year-old Charlotte Schilling and her 10-year-old son, Owen, have been missing from their home in Plattsmouth, Neb., since May 10.  Police say Schilling’s vehicle was found near Lake Manawa, which sits south of Council Bluffs. The lake is northeast of Plattsmouth, Neb., across the Missouri River. Her wallet and cellphone were in the car.
