AT 521 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEROLOGISTS INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 75 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 26 MILES SOUTH OF UNION TO AUBURN…OR ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 58 MILES SOUTH OF OMAHA TO 38 MILES NORTHWEST OF MOUND CITY…MOVING EAST AT 50 MPH. NICKEL SIZE HAIL MAY ALSO ACCOMPANY THE DAMAGING WINDS.
