DON CURRY, 81, of Massena, died Thu., Nov. 17th, at the Veterans Hospital in Omaha, NE. A funeral Mass for DON CURRY will be held 11-a.m. Mon., Nov. 21st, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, in Massena.  Steen Funeral Home in Massena has the arrangements.

The family of Don Curry will greet friends from 5-7pm Sun., Nov. 20th, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Massena, where a Scripture service begins at 7-p.m. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com. 

Memorials may be directed to the American Legion Post #693, St. Patrick’s Cemetery Fund, or the Donald & Dolores Curry Scholarship fund at Creighton University.

Burial, with Taps performed, will be held in the St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery.

His children – Pat, of Asbury Park, NJ; Tony, of Omaha, NE; Chris & his partner Don Carrel, of Mission, KS;  Sarah (Bill) Morrow, of Pewaukee, WI; & Sarah (Davy) Summers, of Marietta, GA.

His sisters – Barbara Meyer, of Nebraska City, NE; Marie Thayer, of Ankeny; Jayne (Bob) Gallagher, of Omaha.

His half-sister: Colleen (Bob) Wilber, of Massena.

His half-brother: John (Coni) Curry, of Massena.

His step-sister: Shela Williamson, of Des Moines, & step-brother: Bill Howard, of Vinton.

4 grandchildren, his sister-in-law, special family friend Dennis Grasser, other relatives and friends.
