Ca$hin' in with KJAN! Listen Friday, July 30 and Tuesday, August 31 at 2:30 pm as we draw live for our winners. Each of those days we will give away $500 in cash and several prizes. Auction guidelines: 1. Everything featured on our auction is brand new merchandise, products or gift certificates that we've received from our participating sponsors. 2. In some cases, some of the items we have received at a discount for an even better value for you. 3. In all cases, we will start the bidding at 50% of the value of the item. We will not sell any item for more than 95% of it's value. After all, it is an auction and you are expecting to get bargains! 4. In all cases, all gift certificates we have cannot be redeemed for cash, have no cash value and cannot be applied to an existing account. Some gift certificates have expiration dates, which we will tell you about as we auction these certificates. 5. In some cases, because of limited supply, we can only sell one or two gift certificates at a time...that's to allow our listeners to receive the same items you've just received at a discounted price...however, you may call back and buy more. 6. We ask that you go on the air live with us when you call in to bid. This is the quickest way to ensure that your bid is registered on the items you want. If you do not want to go on the air we do have staff members that will relay your bids to us. We ask that you give us the last four digits of your telephone number. However, if you are calling from other than our local prefix or on a cell phone, we ask that you give us all seven digits of your telephone number, that is how we identify our bidders. 7. We do have minimum bid increases on the items we have on our auction program. Items with values up to $19 have a minimum $1 bid increase. Items with values from $20 to $49 have a minimum $2 bid increase. Items with values from $50 to $99 have a minimum $3 bid increase. Items with values from $100 to $199 have a minimum $5 bid increase. And, items $200 or more have a minimum bid increase of $10. 8. We will set time limits on items. The reason we do this is because this gives those of you calling in long distance a chance to get your final bids in. 9. We will always repeat the telephone number of the winning bidder. They buy that item for that price. If we have more identical items, then we may just offer them for that same price without taking more bids. 10. After the auction is closed, you will have ten (10) days to stop by KJAN to pick up and pay for your items. In the event items are not picked up and paid for in a timely fashion, those bidders will be excluded from future auctions. _________________________________________
